Pet Helpers, Inc is planning one of their Big Events for 2010 and we need your help. We are planning a Basket Bingo for March 7th, 2010 at the Knights of Columbus in Fairmont, WV.

Doors Open at 1pm

BINGO at 2pm!!

We are Hoping YOU can help us in making this a huge success. We have 21 Baskets to have Sponsored and to be filled with your choice of items. We do not receive any funding from the city or the county, we operate from fund raisers and donations only.
We are trying to raise money for our welfare account as well as our general account to be able to help the many animals that need us.

WE Also need VOLUNTEERS for the BINGO DAY!!

The money raised will go to help animals like the Mom and her Puppies that would have Froze to death if not rescued.

Mom and her puppies. Theywere found on a VERY cold night and 2 of the puppies were laying in frozen water not able to walk.

This is Baxter found Emaciated to under 1/2 his weight. He was not even 30lbs when he was found. He is over 60lbs now.

Ben, found on a very HOT summer day laying along the side of the road.  His hair was matted, a skin condition and we have no idea when his last meal or his last drink was. He was taken straight to he vet where he was treated.

These stories are why our FUND RAISERS are so important.

We are in need of Purina Puppy Chow, Bowls, Pupy pads, Fleece blankets and funding for our welfare animal account.

You can make a donation by clicking on Donations on the left side of this page and click on the donate button. You can also mail your donation to the address listed at the bottom of this page.

Foster mom Kaitlen & Honie, Ryan in the back

our babies. Here are pictues of volunteers, foster parents and new owners.

New famlies!

This is Eddie (A.K.A. Scruffy).

He was rescued from the cold streets and need to find a forever home where he will NEVER have to be cold or hungry again!. He is right at 1 year old and is

13 lbs. I spent sometime with him today and what a sweetheart. The family that found him took him to the Vet and he is up to date with all his shots, has been heart worm tested and now on flea and heart worm preventions. While I was visiting Eddie surprised us. When I had a treat in my hand he rolled over, he stood on his back SHORT (he looks tall in some of these pictures but he is just a little guy) legs and turned, he sat and laid down. He was so proud of what he did. He is house trained and will whine and go to the door. Eddie will be a wonderful new addition to any ones family. He is a little shy at first but give him a few minutes and he will come right around. If you are interested in Eddie contact Pet Helpers.

PET OF THE WEEK!!

This is Sweet Sadie.

She was adopted as

a puppy and returned to Pet Helpers at NO FAULT of hers. She was having some socialization issues but now loves

to be around everyone. She gets along with other animals and in need of a forever home. She needs to be able to spend time quality time with her new owners and be able to share her tender heart with the right family. Contact us if you like to know more about Sadie. She is 10 months old and we are not totally sure of the breed we think Beagle and Jack Russell! Sadie does get along with cats  but has a issue with the litter box. Her foster family says she is a great dog and gives excellent Kisses!!

We are also looking for foster parents! This is a very important part of many of our animals' lives.  When we can place a animal in foster care,  we can save more and more from a unknown future.
