Beautiful Lexi
Lexi is the mom of Josie that was adopted last week. She was also a victim of someone abandoning her and was living outside. She is about 1 ½ year old yellow lab mix. She is a total sweetheart! She has a great personality and you can see her tender soul in her eyes.
She is up to date with all her shots, wormed, spayed and flea treated. She needs a home where she will know that there are people that will love her and give her the HUGS she deserves. Nala now Casey!! She was a rescue from Preston County Animal Control. This was her last day to be there if someone didn't take her.
Nala (A.K.A CASEY) was not going to let us leave until we 
loaded her in the VAN. She looked and barked at us with her tail wagging the whole time we were there. Nala is about 2-3 years old and Australian Shepherd. She is up to date with her shots, wormed, flea treated and much ready to find her new home. She is a little over weight at 75.5lbs, don’ tell her I told her weight. She is a very tender hearted soul and loves attention. She is in her foster home and will up date when I hear from them. If you want a true lady this is the girl for you. Pet Helpers would like to welcome Parker into our family. We believe he is about 1-2 years old and a Pharaoh Hound / Wheaton Terrier mix.. Someone tied a rope around Parker's front legs and drug him with a car. His face and his rear legs are scabbed up where they drug him! He is so skinny! His hips stick out and you can feel every rib.
Somehow Parker managed to drag himself into someone's yard and they called AC to get him. Parker is on antibiotics and the vet said he'll be fine with some TLC. I don't know how anyone could do such a horrific act! If you want to give Parker the loving home he deserves please contact Pet Helpers. He is up to date with his shots and is neutered.

Kimmie was not one of the dogs we went there to get but one look at her sitting there kinda smiling at you, how could we not bring her back? She is so loving, caring and was so happy to have a little attention.

Isabella & Buster
They have arrived. Isabella and Buster the 2 year old Husky’s that were going to be put to sleep last Friday if someone did not rescue them. They were transported to Pet Helpers today and are now at the Vet. They will be given a complete exam, shots, worms, flea treated, spayed and neutered. 
They are very sweet

and dying for attention, since they have lived a lot of their lives in kennels. Buster will sit and give you his paw and loves to be petted. Isabella is a sweet lady that just wants to be with you.

This is Izzy- lover of cuddlings,
balls and belly rubs! Izzy is a 1-2 year old Pit Bull Terrier with a very sweet disposition. She was found earlier this summer as a stray by a Vet in northern Marion county. She has been altered and is house broken and crate trained. She appears to have had at least one litter. She loves kids and is friendly with other dogs and cats unless they threaten her food or toys. Izzy learns verbal commands extremely quickly and just wants to please you. Most days, she can be found chasing a ball in the yard or curled up on the couch with her foster folks. This is Max he is about 1 year old and a Yorkie mix. Max and his owner are victims 
of a domestic violence situation. He was not allowed to go with his owner to the safe place and now he needs a new family
ASAP! He is right at 1 year old and been crated way to much. He is housetrained and gets along better with bigger dogs. He will be going to the Vet to get neutered in a few days but he needs a home (FOSTER or FOREVER) to recover when he leaves the Vet. He needs a big hug to let him know that all people are not mean and that he can have a great and safe home.

She needs a FOREVER home. Raine is about 1-2 year old and a true lady. She is up to date with all her shots, flea treated and is spayed. She will make a family complete when she gets adopted. 
She was very sleepy and cuddled up on the passenger seat to take a nap!

BAXTER!
Baxter is a wonderful dog that is looking for his forever home. He is a big dog, about 80 pounds, but that is just more to
love! He is a sweetheart and loves to be with you. It takes him a little while to warm up to strange dogs, but once he gets to know them, he loves to play. He has several foster brothers and sisters and even a cat. He is about 2 years old and we think he is a lab & hound (possibly coonhound) mix. He loves kids, the tail starts wagging as soon as he sees one. If you want a cuddler, he's great at that.
